Ivanka Trump: Impeachment Has 'Energized' My Father And 'His 63M Plus Voters'
First daughter speaks about 'purely partisan' impeachment of president

White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump said this week's "purely partisan" impeachment against her father by the Democratic House of Representatives has "energized" him and "his 63 million-plus voters."
The first daughter told CBS "Face the Nation" host Margaret Brennan:
"In fact, the only thing bipartisan was the vote against proceeding forward."
No Republicans supported the impeachment of the president on either of two charges, but a few Democrats sided with the GOP against the action.
Trump spoke a day after the House of Representatives voted to charge her father with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

When asked about President Trump's mood following the impeachment process, she said:
"He said it didn't even feel like he was being impeached."
"It is pretty unprecedented that support for impeachment has decreased over time as more information was presented to the American people. It's decreased, not increased," she said.
"So with all of this time spent, with all of these witnesses who didn't have firsthand knowledge, with all of these people that have been paraded in front of the American people, support for this action has decreased," Trump added.

"So, you know, I think he sees it for what it is, which is really just raw partisan politics."
Meanwhile, the Trump campaign raised over $5 million for re-election in 2020 on the same say of the impeachment vote.
On Wednesday, while House Democrats were pushing their partisan campaign to impeach their president, donations flooded in from Trump's supporters.
Following the vote, Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale wrote in a tweet that the huge $5m was taken in a single day.
President Donald Trump “has raised over 5M dollars (still growing) today as Americans use their wallet to show support against @SpeakerPelosi’s impeachment hoax!” Parscale said on Wednesday night.
