Joe Biden: Immigrants ‘Are the Future of America’ - ‘Get Used to It’
2020 Democrat makes case for opening up borders when asked about reparations
During Thursday night's Democratic debate, 2020 Democrat Joe Biden declared that immigrants "are the future of America" and people "should get used to it."
Former Vice President Biden went on an off-topic rant when asked about reparations for African-Americans, to instead give an impassioned defense of migrants.
“The reason we’re the country we are is because of immigration,” Biden responded to the question about reparations during the presidential debate on CNN which was co-moderated by PBS and Politico.
“We’ve been able to cherry-pick the very best from every single continent,” he added.
“The people who come here have determination, resilience, they are ready to stand up and work like the devil,” Biden said, according to News Thud.
“We have 24 out of every 100 children in our schools today is Hispanic."
"They [the] idea that we are going to walk away and not provide every opportunity for them is not only stupid and immoral but it’s bad for America,” Biden continued.
“They are the future of America,” Biden decalred.
“And we should invest in them.
"Everyone will benefit from them, every single American.
"And you should get used to it.”
“This is a nation of immigrants, that’s who we are, that’s why we’re who we are, that’s what makes us different and we should invest in them,” Biden concluded.

Biden's fusing of America's migrant crisis with African-American issues didn't go down well pundits.
Progressive podcast host Tim Black called Biden, writing on Twitter: “Joe Biden says he’s chomping at the bit to talk about Reparations and then proceeds to speak for 40 seconds without mentioning Black people once, yet uses the term immigrants thrice. #DemDebate”

"I guess Joe thinks slaves were 'immigrants'," one commenter noted.
Elsewhere during Thursday night's debate, Biden vowed to eliminate "hundreds of thousands" of American blue-collar jobs.
The ex-VP pledged to sacrifice jobs in the oil and gas industries in order to transition to a “greener economy.”
“Vice President Biden, I’d like to ask you; three consecutive American presidents have enjoyed stints of explosive economic growth due to oil and gas production,” moderator Tim Alberta said.
“As president would you be willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers in the interest transitioning to that greener economy?”
“The answer is yes,” Biden declared in response, even after the moderator noted that the move could cost hundreds of thousands of jobs.
