They also accused the Republican Party of being filled with “white men.”

Filmmaker Michael Moore said he watched the proceedings in person after gaining access to the House gallery.

“Congress is about to impeach a lawless, criminal president,” the director tweeted.

Anti Trump filmmaker Rob Reiner labeled Trump “the most criminally corrupt president in our nation’s history.”

Actress Alyssa Milano attempted to seem less biased by saying the process has left her “sad and heartbroken,” because Trump's supposed “bigotry can’t be erased with this vote.”

Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell expressed religious sentiment in her reaction.

Hey #Trump, I know you’re super busy getting #Impeached, but I think you’ll love this multi-award winning feature film. OK, some of it is about how I prevailed over you. People really seem to like that angle. They laugh & get all inspired & stuff. You might learn something.
