Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said that impeaching President Donald Trump is the “only remedy” to his alleged actions toward Ukraine and Joe Biden.

Clinton wrote in a social media post:

“One of our most precious rights as Americans is the right to determine who our leaders are.

The president abused his powers to cheat in the next election and rob us of that right.

"Then he obstructed Congress to cover it up."

“Impeachment is the only remedy. #DefendOurDemocracy”

The vote was only the fourth of its kind taken by the committee.

Trump remarked on the process for the first time since the vote took place.

The president reiterated a lot of previous arguments, referring to the investigation as "a hoax" and "a witch hunt," while describing his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a "perfect phone call."

"We’re dealing with a lot of corrupt people. There was nothing done wrong. To use the power of impeachment on this nonsense is an embarrassment to this country," Trump added.

Earlier this month, Clinton told Howard Stern that Trump made her "sick" to her "stomach."

“I am sick to my stomach about what Trump did pardoning three men who were testified against by their own men because of the way that they behaved.”
