Far-Left Activists Storm Nativity Play, Scream 'Fascists' At Terrified Children
Liberal group members hurled insults towards the terrified children

A group of far-left activists stormed a children's Christmas nativity play in Toulouse, France, yelling at the children and calling them “fascists.”
The group of 50 loud leftist extremists, disrupted the nativity play at the Place Saint-Georges while screaming, “stop the fascists!” along with “we are the anticapitalists."
Group members also hurled insults towards the terrified children and the organizers, according to La Depeche.
The nativity play was then shut down for a full two hours ahead of schedule as the children became more frightened.
“It was worse in the early days of Christians,” one witness to the protest said.

They added:
“All those who cry do not know that Jesus was not bourgeois, but poor, destitute. I feel sorry for them.”
Archbishop of Toulouse Robert Le Gall responded to the incident ina press releases:
“I deplore that the simple reminder of the birth of Jesus and the values it conveys (welcoming the stranger, announcing peace, and a sign of tenderness that we all need) is no longer respected in our country and even arouses acts of verbal and physical violence by those who set themselves up as defenders of freedom.”
Toulouse Mayor Jean-Luc Moudenc denounced the leftist protesters calling them “irresponsible.”

Due to France's official secularism stance, the populist mayor of Béziers Robert Ménard was recently ordered by courts to remove nativity scenes placed in the city hall.
Last week, Neon Nettle reported that an elementary school in Oklahoma was forced to pull the traditional Nativity scene from its Christmas show following "bullying" from an atheist group.
Chisholm Elementary removed the scene depicting the birth of Jesus Christ following legal threats from the anti-Christian organization.
Lawyer at the atheist group Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), Christopher Line, wrote a letter to F. Andrew Fugitt at the Center for Education Law, demanding that the scene be removed.
Line claims that the school district was committing a “constitutional violation” by including a Nativity scene in their Christmas show, writing:
A concerned Edmond Public Schools community member has reported that each year, third-grade teachers at Chisholm Elementary have students rehearse a live nativity scene, which students then perform at the school’s holiday concert in December.
We understand that Chisholm students who participate in the nativity play various roles, including Mary and Joseph, etc...While a public school can hold holiday concerts, religious performances, and instruction that emphasize the religious aspects of a holiday are prohibited… A live nativity performance celebrating the story of Jesus’s birth is precisely the sort of religious endorsement prohibited by the Establishment Clause.
