Adam Schiff Town Hall Shut Down By Trump Supporters Who Shout 'Liar' and 'Treason'
House Intelligence Committee chairman's California event turns to chaos - WATCH

A town hall event in California, featuring House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) descended into chaos when supporters of President Donald Trump shut down the meeting.
Jeers from the crowd led to clashes among attendees after anti-Trump Democrat Schiff was called "liar" and accused of "treason."
The event hosted by the Armenian National Committee of America on Saturday.
Schiff was discussing how recognition of the Armenian genocide was a significant bipartisan issue when members of the crowd began shouting at him.
"Liar!" and "treason!" were heard being yelled by attendees at the Glendale event while others held placards saying "don't impeach."
The commotion quickly escalated, with a number of people present bearing signs or shirts supporting President Trump and opposing the Democrats' partisan impeachment push.

Schiff is one of the leaders of the impeachment inquiry, which is expected to lead to a vote by the full House later this week.
"You will be going to jail for treason!" one man could be heard shouting in videos from the event that were posted online.
The man acknowledged the outburst was unrelated to the purpose of the event, stating, "No disrespect to you all, I'm glad you guys are getting recognized for your genocide, but this man is a f-----g liar!"
Videos captured physical scuffles that broke out soon after, while Schiff stepped away from the podium as organizers and authorities struggled to regain control of the event.
No one was injured, police told the Los Angeles Times.
Schiff’s supporters eventually rallied on his behalf, chanting, “Adam! Adam!”

The event made a Monday town hall held by Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) seem tame in comparison.
Slotkin - who confirmed this week she will vote for President Donald Trump's impeachment, despite representing a pro-Trump district - was confronted by her angry constituents during a raucous town hall event Monday night.
Rep. Slotkin came face-to-face with a large crowd of her Michigan voters, who were furious at her decision to back a purely partisan impeachment effort against the president.
“Slotkin’s district supported Trump in 2016, so she was prepared for the mixed reception at Monday’s event,” Fox News reported.
“Indeed, the event kicked off with a battery of jeers and outbursts from the crowd as she spoke about why she went from being against impeachment after the Russia investigation to in favor of it now.”
Slotkin pressed forward with her speech, stating, "I’m glad to see so much enthusiasm for civic engagement."
