CNN Poll: Democrat Support For Trump's Impeachment Is Plummeting
Support for impeaching Trump and removing him from office stands at 45%

Support for President Donald Trump's impeachment has dropped significantly among Democrat voters by double-digits, according to a new CNN impeachment poll released on Monday.
According to CNN:
“Support for impeaching Trump and removing him from office stands at 45% in the new poll, down from 50% in a poll conducted in mid-November just after the conclusion of the House Intelligence Committee’s public hearings."
“Opposition to impeachment and removal stands at 47% in the new poll, up from 43% in November.”
The outlet added:
“Support for impeachment and removal among Democrats has dipped from 90% in November to 77% now.”

On Monday, the Co-Founder of Real Clear Politics, Tom Bevan, reported that the new Real Clear Politics average revealed public support for impeachment was underwater.
- 47.3% were against impeachment
- 46.7% supported impeachment
According to another poll, this time from USA Today, found that “in the wake of combative impeachment hearings, those surveyed oppose by 51%-45% a Senate vote to convict Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.”
USA Today’s poll also revealed:
“Trump defeating former vice president Joe Biden by three percentage points, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders by five points, and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren by eight points.
"In hypothetical head-to-head contests, Trump also led South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg by 10 points and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg by nine.”

Last week, Neon Nettle reported the latest national, state, and combined average polls from recent days show that the Democratic Party's push to impeach President Donald Trump is backfiring.
The polls suggest that public support for impeachment is U-turning as the Democrats move forward with their attempt to remove the president from office.
“According to the Monmouth poll – which was released Wednesday – 50 percent said the president should not be impeached and removed from office, with 45 percent calling for impeachment and removal from the White House,” Fox News reports.
Meanwhile, the Trump campaign raised $10 million in the same week as democrats ramped up their impeachment efforts.
Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale listed some of President Donald Trump's achievements in the last week as the media focuses on impeachment.
One White House adviser touted Trump's week as "one of his best weeks yet.”
Political communications strategist Ron Bonjean told Bedard:
“There is one world where the mainstream media is covering impeachment, but there is another world where Trump is racking up a myriad of accomplishments, many of which have the support of the same Democrats who want to remove him from office.”
