President Trump Shreds 'Current' FBI Director: 'He Will Never Be Able To Fix The FBI'
FBI Director Christopher Wray response to the IG report is called out

President Donald Trump blasted his current FBI Director Christopher Wray following his response to the recently released report from the Department of Justice inspector general.
Trump said Tuesday on Twitter:
"I don’t know what report current Director of the FBI Christopher Wray was reading, but it sure wasn’t the one given to me."
"With that kind of attitude, he will never be able to fix the FBI, which is badly broken despite having some of the greatest men & women working there!"

Wray stressed that the inspector general did not find any political bias from the FBI in its decision to investigate the Trump campaign.
"The inspector general did not find political bias or improper motivations impacting the opening of the investigation or the decision to use certain investigative tools during the investigations," Wray said.
Wray did, however, admit the FBI "fell short of the standard of conduct and performance that we, and that I as director, expect from our employees."
On Monday, Wray pushed back critics calling the FBI part of “Deep State,” saying the characterization is “affront” to bureau employees.

Wray’s comments came during an interview with ABC News on the Justice Department’s inspector general report.
PIERRE THOMAS:
As far as you know, based on the findings in the inspector general report, is the FBI — was it part of some Deep State?
CHRISTOPHER WRAY:
I think that’s the kind of label is a disservice to the 37,000 men and women who work at the FBI, who I think tackle their jobs professionalism, rigor, objectivity, courage.
That’s not a term I would ever use to describe our workforce, and I think it’s an affront to them.
Having said that, there are a number of things in this report, in my view, fall well short of the standard and performance that we, and I expect of all our employees and we’re going to be taking a number of corrective steps to address that.
