Hillary Claims She’s ‘Deluged’ with Requests to Run for President - WATCH
Former Secretary of State till yet to rule out joining 2020 race
Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she is “deluged” with requests for her to run for president again, and she is still yet to rule out joining the increasingly weak-looking 2020 Democrat candidates.
During numerous media appearances last month, Clinton hinted she might run again, mainly because, as she puts it, so many people want to see her on the national stage.
Speaking on BBC’s Graham Norton Show in London last week, Clinton confirmed she would “have to make up my mind really quickly” if she was going to join the 2020 race.
When pushed for a third time if she would make a run for the White House, she responded:
"As I say, never, never, never say never.”
Clinton admitted that he would need to make up her mind “really quickly” on joining the 2020 race.
She has already missed the filing deadline for the first primary, but there is no deadline for the next caucuses in Iowa.
Over recent weeks, Clinton said she had been “deluged” thinking about running again, but added that, “right now, I’m not, at all, planning that.”
“The rumor mill is flying that you could step back into the ring.”
“I hear that. I have been deluged the last few weeks with thinking about doing that, but right now, I’m not at all planning that.”
In October, Clinton called for a presidential election "rematch" between herself and President Donald Trump.
Speaking with “PBS NewsHour" Clinton said:
"So, maybe there does need to be a rematch. I mean, obviously, I can beat him again."
A Rasmussen poll released earlier this year found both Trump and Clinton would receive 45 percent support in a potential matchup.
