Reiner Mocks Melania For Being Booed at Opioid Event: 'It Comes With The Territory'
Liberal actor attacks First Lady for speech on the opioid epidemic

Liberal Hollywood actor-director Rob Reiner attacked First Lady Melania Trump in response to her talk about the opioid crisis at a Baltimore high school on Tuesday, where she was booed.
The 'tolerant' actor suggested the audience's response to the First Lady's talk "comes with the territory."
“Don’t think I’ve ever heard of a First Lady being booed. But when you’re married to a Criminal who’s destroying Democracy, it comes with the territory,” Rob Reiner said.
Reiner’s tweet attacking Mrs. Trump came just hours after his regularly schedule screed, where he attempts to justify President Donald Trump's impeachment.
“There is no question: This President is a criminal who has committed voluminous Impeachable Offenses. The evidence is overwhelming,” Reiner said on Monday.

“The path has been cleared for principal witnesses to testify. Be Patriots. Come forward. End this Nightmare. Save Democracy.”
But despite the liberal attacks, Mrs. Trump’s speech highlighted efforts the Trump administration is putting into tackling the opioid epidemic.
“I am in this fight with you, and I am fighting for you,” Mrs. Trump said.
“Promoting education and awareness on these issues will always be one of my top priorities. I am in this fight with you, and I am fighting for you," she added.
"I encourage you, if you are struggling with addiction right now, reach out for support — whether it’s a teacher, parent, friend, grandparent, coach or pastor, talk to an adult in your life that you trust. It is never too late to ask for help.”
The event was organized as part of Melania’s “Be Best” campaign which focuses on online safety and opioid abuse.

The event was also co-sponsored by Mark Wahlberg’s Youth Foundation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
During her speech, First Lady Melania Trump called on all leaders to learn more about the opioid epidemic and help young people learn more about the benefits of a drug-free lifestyle.
On Tuesday, the White House announced Trump was donating his third-quarter presidential salary to help fight the opioid crisis.
The president gave $100,000 to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health; the money is what he would have been paid in the third quarter.
The funds will go to the federal public health offices and programs, and the surgeon general’s office.
The White House stated the funds are being earmarked “to continue the ongoing fight against the opioid crisis.”
