Vindman Admits to Fabricating Details from Trump's Ukraine Call Summary
Democrats' star 'witness' Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman admits to making up details

One of the Democrats' star "witnesses," in their taxpayer-funded anti-Trump impeachment campaign, has admitted that he fabricated details from the president's phone call with Ukraine's leader during an official summary of the conversation.
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman admits he made up elements of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
During his summary of the call, Vindman included details about a discussion between the two leaders regarding an agreement to "root out corruption" in Ukraine, but that conversation never took place.
Prior to the call, Vindman included the fabricated details in the talking points provided to the president but now admits that Trump did not use them in the call.
The summery Vindman wrote after the call read:
President Trump underscored the unwavering support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity – within its internationally recognized borders – and expressed his commitment to work together with President-elect Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people to implement reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption.

During his testimony, Vindman clarified that President Trump did not bring up the topic rooting out corruption during the phone call.
But, he confesses that he included it in his summary of the call anyway.
When asked by the Democrat counsel about whether the summary he wrote was false, Vindman hesitated.
“That’s not entirely accurate, but I’m not sure I would describe it as false, it was consistent with U.S. policy,” Vindman replied.
Vindman said he included the rhetoric about corruption as a “messaging platform” to describe U.S. policy toward Ukraine, even though it was not discussed on the call.

Elsewhere, another witness testimony has emerged to further shred the credibility of the Democrats impeachment claims.
As Neon Nettle previously reported, a top US diplomat has testified that neither Joe Biden or his son Hunter Biden, or their connected Ukrainian company Burisma, were ever mentioned while US military aid to Ukraine was held up.
David Hale, the State Department’s No. 3 official, gave testimony during a November 6 closed-door deposition.
Hale has testified that no one in the Trump administration, or any other "government channel," ever mentioned the Bidens as a reason for withholding aid from Ukraine.
A transcript of Hale's remarks was released late Monday by House Democrats during their impeachment inquiry.
Democrats argue that the White House improperly pressured Ukraine to look into the Bidens and energy firm Burisma Holdings, with the unfounded allegation being the foundation of the impeachment push against President Donald Trump.
Hunter Biden held a lucrative role at the notoriously corrupt natural gas company, despite limited expertise, while his father oversaw Ukraine policy while in office as vice president.
