NFL Issues Another Fine for 'Man of God' Player, Who Knelt in Prayer After Collision
New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis prayed after colliding another player
The NFL has issued another huge fine for Demario Davis after a brutal collision which saw the New Orleans Saints linebacker kneel in prayer on the field for an injured rival player.
Davis recently made headlines after he was fined roughly $7,000 by the National Football League for wearing a headband with “Man of God” written across it during a Week 3 matchup against the Seahawks.
Remaining defiant, Davis posted a picture of his headband on Instagram, asking his followers whether he should continue to wear it or not, despite the threat of more fines if he does so.
“So, I got fined $7K for my headband. Should I continue to wear it, or nah?” he asked.
The fine was issued under the NFL’s rule against players wearing “personal messages” during games.
Davis's $7000 fine was later dropped when he won an appeal against the NFL after news of his punishment went viral.
Davis was met with an outpouring of support from people all around the world following his controversial fine.
After hearing that the NFL had dropped the fine, Davis said he would instead give the fine money to a hospital in his home state of Mississippi.
Through the sale of the "Man of God" headbands, Davis was able to raise an additional $120,000 for the hospital through the proceeds and matching donations.

Now Davis has earned another massive fine from the league over collision with Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Geoff Swaim.
Following the collision, openly Christian Davis knelt in prayer for the injured player.
"I felt it... because he hit me in the side [of the head]," said Davis.
"I kind of had like a little flash, and I heard the crowd and I was like, 'Oh, that... must not have been good'.
"So when I turned around, he was down on the ground and the first thing that I knew was like 'Man, let's just go and pray' because this is such a dangerous game."
The Times-Picayune reported on Sunday that Davis was fined $28,075 for unnecessary roughness for the play during the fourth quarter of the Week 6 game between the Saints and the Jaguars.
Swaim suffered a concussion and was not cleared to play against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7 of the NFL schedule.
Davis spoke to Arroyo in a Fox Nation interview before the NFL announced the fine.
"I wanted personally to take time and pray for him because... my prayers and thoughts are still with him," he told Fox Nation.
"Hopefully, he's going to be fully recovered from that because it's such a fast game and so much is happening so fast.
"And you go from a play that... you feel like it's about to be a normal tackle and then boom!"
"At that point it's like, God needs to heal this man up, make sure he's good," Davis continued.
"But he was able to walk off the field, which was huge.
"And I'm definitely wishing him well and speedy recovery."
