2020 hopeful and former Congressman Beto O’Rourke has claimed President Donald Trump is similar to Adolf Hitler in terms of his use of 'propaganda.'

Speaking to Al Sharpton on Sunday in an interview on MSNBC, Beto said:

“This idea from Goebbels and Hitler that the bigger the lie and the more often you repeat it, the more likely people are to believe it."

“That is Donald Trump to a T," Beto concluded.

O’Rourke was referring to Hitler’s propagandist, Joseph Goebbels, and the Third Reich, alleging Trump “seems to employ this tactic that the bigger the lie, the more obscene the injustice, the more dizzying the pace of this bizarre behavior, the less likely we are to be able to do something about it.”

But when O’Rourke was asked to clarify his statement, he replied:

“That’s right. There is so much that is resonant of the Third Reich in this administration.”

O’Rourke also claimed Trump was trying to ban all Muslims from entering the US because they were “inherently dangerous or defective or disqualified.”

“Outside of Nazi Germany, it’s hard for me to find another modern democracy that had the audacity to say something like this,” O’Rourke said.

O'Rourke recently told a crowd of his supporters that white supremacy is “manifest in every part of American life.”

In August, O'Rourke told a crowd of his supporters that white supremacy is “manifest in every part of American life.”

Speaking to a crowd of mostly white people at the College of Charleston, South Carolina, former Rep. O’Rourke (D-TX) told an outdoor gathering that racial hatred is ingrained in America's way of life.

O’Rourke described a country founded on white supremacy, suggesting that the American people are projecting their racism onto would-be migrants being detained on the border.

During his campaign speech, Beto also tried to push false allegations about President Donald Trump being supportive of extreme racism.

He then tried to blame the president for the American people's alleged "racism."
