Warren: Transgender Migrants 'Must' Be Allowed to Cross the Border Without Detention
2020 Democrat frontrunner says trans border crossers ‘must’ be released into U.S.
Democratic 2020 frontrunner Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has declared that transgender migrants "must" be released into the interior of the United States after illegally crossing the border.
The Democrat presidential primary candidate argues that illegal aliens should not be detained at the border if they "identify" themselves as "transgender" because they could be "vulnerable."
Along with Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Senator Warren sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), demanding that trans border crossers and illegal aliens are released into the U.S.
The Democratic senators insist that migrants must not be held in Mexico under President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy if they claim to be gender confused.
According to Warren and Baldwin, this requirement increases “the risks faced by transgender asylum seekers by placing their health and safety at risk while they wait — potentially for years — for their asylum claims to be processed.”
The pair claims that detaining trans illegal aliens is in violation of “the United States’ moral and legal obligations to transgender asylum seekers.”
“While in detention, transgender migrants and asylum seekers are particularly vulnerable to sexual harassment, discrimination, and abuse,” Warren asserts in the letter.
“The United States should protect individuals fleeing persecution and targeted violence, including persecution based on gender identity or expression — not subject them to further harm.”
“Trans migrants and asylum seekers are particularly vulnerable,” Warren posted on Twitter.
“We must end unnecessary detention and enforce strict standards to keep trans migrants and asylum seekers safe — and I’ll continue holding our government accountable when they fail to do so.”

The demand for transgender border crossers to be released into the U.S. interior is the latest case Warren has made for open borders while on the campaign trail.
Likewise, Warren has said that border crossers must not be “unnecessarily” detained and instead freed into the interior of the U.S.
She has also claimed that driving up foreign competition in the labor market by providing amnesty to 11 million to 22 million illegal aliens is “good” for American workers.
Though Warren has taken a populist-nationalist stance on various economic policies, her plan to support more immigration to the U.S. is a key component of the globalist agenda supported by the nation’s donor class.
