Thousands of Occultists Plan Halloween ‘Spell’ Ritual to ‘Stop Trump’
Rituals participants are taking encouragement from Democrats impeachment push

Thousands of 'occult' opponents of President Donald Trump are reportedly planning to gather in order to cast a ritualistic spell to prevent the administration from 'harming the country.'
The ritual's participants are taking particular encouragement from the Democrats' recent launch of an impeachment inquiry, which they claim is as 'sign' their efforts are working.
Self-proclaimed magical thinker and activist, Michael Hughes said:
“I’m willing to go on record and say it’s working."
The so-called spell is designed “to bind Donald Trump and all those who abet him."

The spell is supposed to be performed during every waning crescent moon until Trump is removed from office.
The ritual uses a photo of Trump, a tarot card, a stub of an orange candle, a pin, and a feather.
Occultic participants call on the "heavenly hosts, demons of the infernal realms, and spirits of the ancestors" to bind the president "so that his malignant works may fail utterly."
The ritual has been performed over the last three years, with this month's event likely to draw thousands of participants.
Hughes told the Washington Examiner, my spell went "Immediately viral and just completely exploded” after he posted it on Medium.
He added that any response to Trump’s election “had to have an equal sense of surreality or strangeness to break through the media and social media.”
Hughes said his events were “definitely in the thousands” and spread “across the world.”

He noted that every month, several thousand people continue to participate in the ritual.
He said the spell is a means for people to feel empowered following the 2016 election.
“Knowing thousands of people are gathering together at the same time from all over the world to do this ritual and to put our beliefs and our desires into sharp focus, and to do that ritualistically, I think that has a really powerful effect,” said Hughes.
New Zealand-based witch, Karen Tibbits-Williams, said the ritual is to prevent Trump and his supporters from causing harm.
“It could happen by creating unity and strength amongst his opponents; it could be brought about by his impeachment and removal from office,” she said.
Tibbits-Williams is confident the ritual is working.
“I’ve seen for myself, many times over, the power and effectiveness of magick. My confidence in the power and efficacy of our Binding — and the effect which it is having — is absolute. I don’t ‘believe’ that it works … I know it does,” she said.
In June, Trump 's spiritual adviser, Paula White, warned in the opening prayer before his campaign kickoff rally in Orlando, Fla., that "demonic networks" have now aligned themselves against the president.
"Let every demonic network that has aligned itself against the purpose, against the calling of President Trump, let it be broken, let it be torn down in the name of Jesus," she told the crowd of Trump supporters.
