Trump Mocks California Offering Free Healthcare: ‘I May Even Move There'
President calls out states lenient policies toward illegal immigrants
President Donald Trump mocked California for offering free healthcare and free education in a scathing a critique of the state's lenient policies toward illegal immigrants.
During the president's rally in Dallas, Trump joked he might even move to California himself.
“My administration believes in a simple principle," Trump said.
"The best way to keep foreign terrorists out of America is to deny them, just deny them admission in the first place. It’s really pretty simple,” he added.
“That is why I have imposed, and we had passed, and we won at the United States Supreme Court, a travel ban on some of the world’s most dangerous countries and places,” he continued.
Trump then took aim at the Democrats for their lack of will to secure the United States border.
“If Democrats seize power, they would throw the floodgates wide open … We would have people coming into our country,” Trump explained.
“Look at what’s going on in California, and the people of California don’t want it," he said.
"They say, ‘come into California, we’ll give you free healthcare, free education …’ I may even move to California if they keep going!” Trump joked.

Last month, Trump called out California's Democrats for being unable to deal with the states' homelessness epidemic before ordering White House officials to address the issue.
According to the Washington Post:
"Top officials representing the White House and the Department of Housing and Urban Development arrived in California this week for a round of meetings."
"A particular focus has been the 'Skid Row' section of Los Angeles," officials said.
"The president is directly involved with the initiative, the official said and has asked for updates. Officials representing the Justice Department were also part of the tour, according to two government officials."
In May, Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom mulled over plans to allocate $98 million of state funds per year to make California the first state in the country to offer government-funded health care to adult immigrants living in the country illegally.
The Californian governor wants to spend millions in tax dollars to offer medical care that will cover low-income illegal aliens between the ages of 19 and 25.
