Trump: Republicans 'Will Easily Take Back the House' Thanks to 'Impeachment Fraud'
President predicts House victory and reelection win in 2020
President Donald Trump has predicted that Republicans would take back the House and win the presidency in 2020 due to the Democrats' "impeachment fraud."
"95% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. Thank you! Just won two Congressional Seats in North Carolina, & a Governors runoff in Louisiana, which Republicans should now win! Because of Impeachment Fraud, we will easily take back the House, add in the Senate, & again win Pres!"
On Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House will not vote on beginning formal impeachment proceedings against Trump, for now.
Pelosi made the announcement after meeting with the House Democratic caucus on Tuesday evening.
"There's no requirement that we have a vote, and so at this time, we will not be having a vote," Pelosi told reporters during a presser.
"We're not here to call bluffs -- we're here to find the truth, to uphold the Constitution of the United States. This is not a game for us. This is deadly serious."
Trump has since bee pushing for an official vote to put Democrats on record over impeachment support.

Last month, the House Speaker announced a formal impeachment inquiry against Trump after a whistleblower accused the president blackmailing Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
"The president must be held accountable" for the "betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security, and the betrayal of the integrity of our elections."
Last week, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters that President Donald Trump did not attempt to bribe or blackmail him or push a quid pro quo on the Ukrainian government as Democrats claim.
Speaking with media during an event inside a Kiev food market, Zelensky said he believes the transcript released by the White House is accurate.
