Rose McGowan Blasts Hillary for Ties to 'Predators' Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein
#MeToo actress blasts former Secretary of State's links to 'monsters'

#MeToo actress Rose McGowan called out Hillary Clinton over a report that the former Secretary of State's publicist told journalist Ronan Farrow that his probe into Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct was "a concern" for the Clintons.
“I knew that Hillary Clinton’s people were protecting the Monster,” McGowan wrote, referring to disgraced Hollywood mogul Weinstein.
“I can’t believe I used to support her. I guess predators are her style.”
McGowan also appeared to apply her disdain to former President Bill Clinton, who she referred more clearly in a separate Twitter post.

“Hillary Clinton, did you have any concern for your husband’s victims? And what about HW victims? No? Didn’t think so,” McGowan wrote.
Author Ronan Farrow writes in his new book, “Catch and Kill,” that Clinton publicist Nick Merrill had contacted Farrow, who was looking to interview Clinton for a foreign policy book, according to The Hollywood reporter.
Farrow was also working on his New Yorker magazine story about Weinstein at the time.
Merrill told Farrow the “big story” he was working on was a “concern for us,” the THR reported.
Farrow alleged that Weinstein had leveraged relations with the Clintons in order to apply pressure on him, the outlet reported.
McGowan is known as the outspoken leader that launched the #MeToo movement, and it one of Weinstein's first accusers.

I genuinely respect Ronan’s work, but have no idea what Weinstein was saying to people to save himself. What I do know is simple: I’d already rejected a Weinstein Co proposed doc about the election before talking to Ronan. If HW misrepresented facts, it wouldn’t be the 1st time. https://t.co/SAI4yieHxZ

She added:
I am “against abuse of power, whether it be Trump, Clinton, HW, @NBC ... the list is long. I’m not raging, I just really, really dislike liars and those who protect them.”
Merril responded to the article with a tweet:
"I genuinely respect Ronan’s work but have no idea what Weinstein was saying to people to save himself. What I do know is simple: I’d already rejected a Weinstein Co proposed doc about the election before talking to Ronan. If HW misrepresented facts, it wouldn’t be the 1st time.”
According to other reports, Weinstein contacted NBC and even Farrow’s father, Woody Allen, to keep a lid on the story.
Link to Jeffery Epstein
Earlier this year, Bill Clinton broke his silence on the arrest of the late Jeffrey Epstein, claiming he "knows nothing" of the child sex trafficking charges of the billionaire.
Clinton issued a statement denying any knowledge of the "terrible crimes" the major Clinton donor is accused of.
Epstein was found dead in his prison cell where he was awaiting trial for child sex trafficking charges in August this year.
