Ocasio-Cortez now thinks that impeaching her president is 'boring'

After finally getting her own way, by pushing senior Democrats to trigger an impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, celebrity Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) now says she's grown bored of the process.

Speaking to her constituents during a town hall at Queens Library, AOC complained that she "think[s] the whole thing is boring" while discussing impeaching her president.

The "AOC Plus 3 Squad" leader told the crowd she's now shifting her attention toward less "boring" objectives because the time to impeach Trump has long passed, despite being supportive of the House’s efforts just last week.

“I think the whole thing is boring,” Ocasio-Cortez told constituents.

“He should have been impeached a long time ago.

"I’m over it. And so that’s how I feel about it because we’ve got work to do.”

Ocasio-Cortez may be a little sore because, despite Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) submission to the progressive “Squad’s” agenda, not a single one of the Squad members is officially involved in the initial inquiry.

According to the Daily Wire, this exclusion was probably by design.

Ocasio-Cortez is no longer the center of attention on the matter.

It’s also clear that an inquiry may not lead to actual impeachment proceedings, especially if the whistleblowers’ claims don’t expose any actual quid-pro-quo agreement between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian officials with knowledge of former Vice President Joe Biden’s dealings in the eastern European country.

No matter how desperately Ocasio-Cortez wants impeachment, it cannot be done without due process, per the edicts of the Constitution.

Instead, the freshman New York legislator has other progressive priorities on her mind.

Last week, as the nation was preoccupied with Ukraine, she introduced a massive omnibus spending bill that she says will create a more “just society” by using taxpayer funds to give away lots of "free" stuff.

Impeaching the president has no appeal, it seems, when she can spend more taxpayer money.

As Neon Nettle previously reported, Ocasio-Cortez unveiled her new six-bill package over the weekend that would give illegal aliens access to taxpayer-funded welfare, including "free" health care.

Socialist Ocasio-Cortez's deal offers everyone living in America, legally or otherwise, a wide range of "free" [American taxpayers pay for it] benefits such as subsidized housing, health insurance, and even internet access for everyone.

The bill also promises to make all housing units in the country rent-stabilized while opening-up social welfare services to illegal immigrants.

The controversial House Democrat from New York rolled out the new six-bill proposal over the last week, and is calling it "A Just Society."

According to AOC's website, the package of bills "aims to combat the greatest threats to our country, our democracy, and our planet: economic inequality and climate change."

Ocasio-Cortez also made controversial calls to abolish prisons in America in a pair of tweets Monday morning.

The New York Democratic lawmaker is demanding “a real conversation about decarceration [and] prison abolition in this country.”

She added that: “A cage is a cage is a cage. And humans don’t belong in them.”

The radical left-wing movement for "prison abolition" is a push to abolish prisons altogether — even for violent offenders.
