President Donald Trump has called for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff to be impeached for 'treason.'
Trump echoed Former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik's comments, who told Fox News last week that Schiff should be arrested and "charged with conspiracy to commit treason," accusing the whistleblower of working against the current administration.
Trump tweeted on Saturday:
"Nancy Pelosi knew of all of the many Shifty Adam Schiff lies and massive frauds perpetrated upon Congress and the American people, in the form of a fraudulent speech knowingly delivered as a ruthless con, and the illegal meetings with a highly partisan 'Whistleblower' & lawyer."

The president continued:
"This makes Nervous Nancy every bit as guilty as Liddle’ Adam Schiff for High Crimes and Misdemeanors, and even Treason. I guess that means that they, along with all of those that evilly 'Colluded' with them, must all be immediately Impeached!"
Last week, Adam Schiff read out fabricated quotes from the president's phone call with the Ukrainian leader, which Trump later called out.
The California Democrat read a portion of a transcript from the telephone conversation between President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.
But Instead of using the actual words from the transcript, Schiff made up fake quotes claiming they were "the essence" of what President Trump "communicates."

...sound horrible, and me sound guilty. HE WAS DESPERATE AND HE GOT CAUGHT. Adam Schiff therefore lied to Congress and attempted to defraud the American Public. He has been doing this for two years. I am calling for him to immediately resign from Congress based on this fraud!

In response, Trump called for Schiff to resign for reading the fabricated quotes.
Trump tweeted:
"Rep. Adam Schiff fraudulently read to Congress, with millions of people watching, a version of my conversation with the President of Ukraine that doesn’t exist."
"He was supposedly reading the exact transcribed version of the call, but he completely changed the words to make it sound horrible, and made me sound guilty."
Revelations the whistleblower contacted Schiff's office
Former U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy weighed in Schiff, saying he made himself a "fact witness" after reports his office had contact with the Trump-Ukraine whistleblower.
Speaking on "The Story with Martha MacCallum" on Friday, Gowdy Said:
"Right now, he's made himself a fact witness."
"He is in the evidentiary chain for what happened with this whistleblower, and I hope the Republicans make him testify."
Gowdy, then suggested Pelosi would soon get sick of Schiff.
"The same guy that had the parody a week or so ago, the same guy that says he has evidence that even [former Special Counsel Robert] Mueller couldn't find," Gowdy said.
"The question I had is, How long is Speaker Pelosi going to put up with Adam mishandling this investigation?"
Schiff was given “Four Pinocchios” by The Washington Post on Friday after their report said he failed to tell the truth about his knowledge of the whistleblower.
