Kamala Harris Asks Crowd if America is 'Ready' for Her Presidency - They Shout 'No'
2020 Democrat gets unexpected response from several audience members - WATCH

2020 Democrat Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) got an unexpected response when she asked a crowd Thursday night if America is "ready" for her presidency.
Several of the audience members shouted back "no," leaving the California senator stunned.
Harris was speaking at a town hall event in Reno, Nevada, telling attendees that she wanted to "engage in real talk" about her campaign for the presidential race.
"In this election, in the last couple- I mean, maybe couple of months, certainly a few weeks, there's this whole conversation that has been coming up about electability focused on our campaign," Harris said.
"Is America ready for that?" she asked.
Not a good sign for Kamala Harris.

Several audience members responding by shouting "No!" throughout the room, with Harris visibly shocked by what she heard.
"Well, yes they are," Harris snapped back at the crowd, sparking some uncomfortable laughter.

The exchange was met with mockery on social media, with many comparing it to the memorable moment from the 2016 election when former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) urged a crowd at a campaign stop to "please clap."
Harris has been plummeting in the polls over recent weeks.
In the latest Fox News poll, she received 7 percent of support among likely Democratic voters, while former Vice President Joe Biden maintains a double-digit lead with 29 percent while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has 18 percent support and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) 16 percent.

Harris has made some controversial calls during her campaign, including a pledge to introduce extreme anti-Second Amendment laws that would force law-abiding Americans to surrender their guns to the government.
Harris says US citizens would be legally required to "sell" their weapons to her government under her proposed new laws.
She promises to “buy back” the rifles and “give people their value” for the confiscated firearms, however.
Harris also went further, saying that if she could not get the legislation through Congress to ban the further sale of assault weapons, she is “prepared to take executive action” to do so.
“I’ve seen assault weapons kill babies and police officers so, one, I’ll tell you when elected president, if the United States Congress continues to fail to have the courage to do something about this, I’m prepared to take executive action and put in place a ban on the importation of assault weapons into our country.”
