White House to Release Document Showing 'Ukraine' Whistleblower had 'Political Bias'
Intelligence community inspector finds possible political motive
A senior Trump administration official announced that the White House would release a document showing the intelligence community inspector found the whistleblower who made explosive allegations against Presdient Donald Trump had “political bias."
The official did not disclose the name of the rival candidate.
The senior official told Fox News the White House has been working to release to Congress the whistleblower complaint involving Trump's conversations with the leader of Ukraine.
The news came just hours after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry against Trump.
Pelosi said, "the president must be held accountable" for the "betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security, and the betrayal of the integrity of our elections."
The senior administration official added that the White House had nothing to hide, and there had been no wrongdoing, adding that it will make everything possible available to Congress or the public regarding Trump's conversation with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to a source familiar with the matter, the whistleblower had no firsthand knowledge of Trump's July call with Zelensky.
On Tuesday, Trump vowed to release a "complete" transcript of the call by Wednesday.
The content of the call could stop the Democrat's impeachment inquiry dead in its tracks.
Republicans predicted such an impeachment inquiry could backfire on Pelosi.
Joe Biden admitted he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, while Shokin was investigating the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings - when his son, Hunter Biden was on the board.
Democrat party is covering up a pattern of corruption involving high level members of the Obama cabinet. The multi-million and billion dollar pay-for-play is mind boggling. They never even saw the transcript of the call. A total Witch Hunt!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 24, 2019
Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani posted a series of messages on Twitter suggesting Democrats have a bigger problem on their hands.
"Democrat party is covering up a pattern of corruption involving high-level members of the Obama cabinet," Giuliani wrote.
"The multi-million and billion-dollar pay-for-play is mind-boggling. Biden Family sale of office to Ukraine was not the only one or the most egregious. Slimy, Joe is not alone."
In 2018, the Democrats wrote a letter to the Ukraine Government, demanding Ukrainian officials continue investigating US President Donald Trump, a bombshell report has revealed.
Democratic Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Patrick Leahy (D-VT) urged Ukraine to investigate President Trump for claims of alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign — conspiracy later proved to be non-existent.
Nancy Pelosi reportedly spoke to rank-and-file Democrats in a closed-door meeting saying the whistleblower's complaint involving President Donald Trump's phone call with Ukraine's president assured her it was time to launch the impeachment inquiry.
“Right now, we have to strike while the iron is hot,” Pelosi told Democrats, according to a source in the room.
“This is a national security issue ... and we cannot let him think that this is a casual thing, so that's where I'm at.”
