Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s grandmother, Muftia Tlaib, expressed her disdain for America in an interview with USA Today, revealing what she really felt about the country.
“Even if I get an invitation from Trump to travel to the U.S., I won’t go,” she said.
“Even if my husband returns from the grave and tells me to go, I refuse,” she continued.
“I don’t like it there,” she added, according to USAToday.

She added that she spent eight months in the U.S. when her granddaughter was in high school and decided never to go back.
“I decided not to ever go back after I made ‘Hadj'," she said.
‘Hadj' is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, prescribed as a religious duty for Muslims.
Last month, both Tlaib and fellow 'squad' member were banned from entering Israel due to laws which allow Israel to deny passage to supporters of the BDS movement seeking to destroy the Jewish state.
“We had planned to slaughter a sheep to celebrate her coming back to visit with us,” Tlaib’s uncle Bassam Tlaib told USA Today.
Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib told D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser she wanted to a flag with 51 stars to display outside her office.

“But we supported her decision. And we know why the Israelis didn’t want her here: Her visit would have shown how we Palestinians are suffering under their occupation,” he claimed.
Omar and Tlaib are both prominent BDS supporters and introduced a resolution in Congress aimed at supporting the BDS Movement targeting the Middle East’s only democracy.
Rashida grandmother also recently denounced President Donald Trump following the Israel ban.
Tlaib's grandmother spoke with Reuters from her garden in Beit Ur Al-Fauq, a village in the West Bank:
"Trump tells me I should be happy Rashida is not coming. May God ruin him," she said.
Tlaib's comments come as the Democratic congresswoman is caught in yet another controversy involving Israel.
