Courtney Love Says Epstein Introduced Her to Prince Andrew: He Was 'Looking for Sex'
'Of all the things that have happened in my life, this truly is one of the most surreal'

Singer Courtney Love has claimed that she was introduced to Prince Andrew by pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in 2000, and describes the British royal's behavior as predatory, according to reports.
Love says after meeting Andrew, the Duke of York, he later turned up at her home at 1 am, unannounced, "looking for sex."
The musician claims the British prince rang the bell of her Hollywood mansion following the introduction by Clinton-linked sex-offender Epstein.
The rocker published a picture of herself with the Queen's second son in her 2007 book, titled; "Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love."
After arriving at her home unexpectedly with a protection officer in 2000, Love says Prince Andrew was acting "very flirtatious" according to the Sun.
Love claims Andrew was in Los Angeles "looking for a good time" and managed to get her address by a mutual acquaintance.
Courtney Love was married to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain until he committed suicide in 1994.
After previously being released from prison for child sex crimes, Andrew's former friend Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his jail cell in August where he was awaiting trial on new charges of child sex trafficking.

Speaking about the bizarre visit from Prince Andrew, Love says she made the Duke of York tea from a pot with his mother's face on it, according to a friend of the singer.
After chatting on the sofa for around 45 minutes the prince reportedly left.
The pair did not have sex, the source said.
Love reportedly told a friend: "Of all the things that have happened in my life, this truly is one of the most surreal things."
The pair was pictured meeting in 2000 at the premiere of the How The Grinch Stole Christmas film in Universal City, California.
In a 2006 TV interview Love, 55, claimed to have also met Andrew on a sperate occasion in Hay-On-Wye, Wales, and that the royal came "looking for chicks."
At the time a spokesman for the prince admitted he visited Love's house but insisted he was not alone and said it was "absolute nonsense" to suggest he went there looking for girls.
A spokeswoman for Buckingham Palace said Andrew visited Love's home with a group of friends.

He claimed the episode referred to by Love happened in 2000 - a year after Andrew claims to have first formally met Epstein.
In 2012 a contacts book seized by the FBI, that was then leaked, contained Love's details.
Epstein was facing trial on sex trafficking charges when he was found hanged in his Manhattan jail cell in July.
The 66-year-old, who once counted former President Bill Clinton as a close friend, was arrested on July 6 and pleaded not guilty to federal charges of sex trafficking involving dozens of girls as young as 14.
Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of media mogul Robert, connected him with high-profile friends such as Andrew, magician David Copperfield, and disgraced film tycoon Harvey Weinstein.
Andrew was pictured with a 17-year-old Virginia Roberts, as she was known at the time, in 2001 in a photograph taken by Epstein at Ghislaine Maxwell's west London home.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre alleged in court papers in Florida that she had sex with Andrew "three times, including one orgy" at Epstein's home and on his private island in the Caribbean.

However, a judge struck out this claim against the Duke of York in 2015, describing them as "immaterial and impertinent."
Sources close to the prince allege a picture taken in 2001 could have been altered as part of a "witch hunt," claiming it does not show Andrew's fingers because his are "chubbier" and the pair's respective heights are wrong.
After Epstein's death, Prince Andrew issued a statement saying he was "appalled" by the allegations against Epstein and insisted he only "saw him infrequently and probably no more than only once or twice a year."
Epstein was convicted and previously jailed for 18 months in Florida in 2008 on charges of soliciting a minor for prostitution.

But that sentence, which was agreed in a plea deal with prosecutors, was widely criticized as it allowed the billionaire to leave his cell on a private wing six days a week for 12 hours a day on work release.
Despite the conviction, Prince Andrew continued to associate with Epstein and was pictured staying with him at his mansion in Manhattan in 2010.
He was pictured waving to a woman leaving the multi-million dollar home.
It was subsequently revealed he was gesturing to the daughter to former Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating, Katherine.
In 2011 Prince Andrew was forced to quit as UK trade envoy over his controversial friendship with Epstein.
Last week Love, who fronted punk band Hole, got into a social media row with the opioid heiress, Joss Sackler, who offered the former addict $100,000 to appear at her New York fashion show.
