2020 Democrat Buttigieg Calls for National Federal ID Cards for Illegal Aliens
Mayor Pete Buttigieg pushes plan for giving illegal immigrants legal IDs in America

2020 Democrat Mayor Pete Buttigieg is pushing for illegal aliens to be given American national ID cards to make the United States more "inclusive" for illegals.
The mayor of South Bend, Indiana, pushed the idea on Tuesday night during a discussion about his citywide program to give illegal immigrants a federal ID.
Buttigieg was discussing the plan during the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Presidential Forum on Telemundo, insisting that he wants it rolled out nationally.
“Nationally, I think we should make it possible for everybody to obtain identifications so that cities like mine don’t have to create solutions like this,” he said.

According to Breitbart, Buttigieg lamented that illegal immigrants are being “excluded from the life of the community” because they were unable to get an ID in Indiana.
Instead, Buttigieg spearheaded a citywide ID program, issued by a Hispanic community organizing group.
South Bend then forced the police department to recognize the ID and gave cardholders access to city buildings, public schools, and libraries, as well as other city services.
The ID does not allow illegal immigrants to drive.
Buttigieg argued that the ID helped promote more immigration, which he said was necessary to keep the American population growing.
He also promoted his concept of a fast-track visa for immigrants who agreed to live in certain areas of the country.
“Some communities just plain need people,” he said.
“That is as important as creating jobs; it’s a chicken and egg.
"And if communities empty out, you begin to have a vicious cycle where communities can begin dying.”

In March this year, Wisconsin's Democratic Governor Tony Evers also laid out similar plans to give illegal immigrants driver's licenses and ID cards during his Biennial Budget Address.
The new push for illegal aliens was one of a number of new proposals outlined by the newly elected Democrat in his budget, that are not directly related to money.
The liberal new governor's push would make illegals eligible for driver's licenses and state IDs, which would then pave the way for them to legally purchase guns and qualify for other benefits normally reserved for legal citizens.
The governor claims that granting illegal immigrants licenses to drive will lead to safer roads and also boost the state's economy.
