Ex-CIA Shreds James Comey's 'Horrifying' Handling of Trump Investigation
Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright, a Democrat, blasts ex-FBI director
Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright has shredded James Comey over his "horrifying" handling of the FBI's investigation President Donald Trump.
“We had an individual that the inspector general report has now said an FBI director [James Comey] leaked information to force a public action; that is, the appointment of a special counsel,” Wright, a Democrat, said Friday while speaking to “Fox & Friends.”
“Not because the facts demanded it,” Wright continued.
“But because he and his own partisan drive desired it. Now that’s horrifying.
"Not only was that horrifying for Donald Trump (but for) any other president that could’ve been elected in 2016.”
“The profound concern that I have as an American, forget Democrat or Republican, but especially as an agency officer, we have 35,000 employees in the FBI, tens of thousands of CIA officers, who have access to some of the most profound powers and knowledge in this country,” Wright said.
"Now what example does that set for them such that in 2020 or 2024, they can choose to use that information however they want to kneecap whoever they want whenever they want," Wright continued.
"We are at this precipice, we're at this cliff's edge of something very, very horrific happening that we're not gonna be able to pull back from unless we are incredibly careful and we take Comey and Brennan and the rest of these characters to task."
"In 2020, if we have Elizabeth Warren, or whoever on the Democratic side who happens to win – let's just say [her] for argument's sake – you don't think there are gonna be conservative or Republican spies who aren't gonna be out for revenge themselves?" Wright added.
"And now what's the consequence for their behavior? There is none.
"They get a book deal. I mean, that's what Comey got, right?"

According to the Daily Wire, around the time of the segment, Trump tweeted: "The disastrous IG Report on James Comey shows, in the strongest of terms, how unfairly I, and tens of millions of great people who support me, were treated.
"Our rights and liberties were illegally stripped away by this dishonest fool.
"We should be given our stolen time back?"
"The fact that James Comey was not prosecuted for the absolutely horrible things he did just shows how fair and reasonable Attorney General Bill Barr is," Trump added.
"So many people and experts that I have watched and read would have taken an entirely different course. Comey got Lucky!"
After he saw the segment, Trump quoted Wright in a tweet:
"Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Officer(Dem): 'In 2016 we had a Coup. We have to take Comey and others to task. Makes no sense not to prosecute him. Comey got a book deal. I fear for my Country. He tried to kneecap our duly elected president, and there are no consequences.'"

They do not get to decide the political winners & losers in America.
That is the job of the people.
I join you in solidarity in that fight. https://t.co/dSKYEEzJzE
