Biden Slams Migrant Detention Centers: ‘Close Them Down!’
2020 frontrunner promises to help migrants reunite with families
Presidential candidate Joe Biden told a town hall at Clinton College in Rock Hill, South Carolina that he would shut down migrant shelters and detention centers at the border.
A Clinton college student asked the former Vice Presdient what he would do to help migrants in the facilities reunite with their families.
Biden quickly responded saying, “Close them down!”
“No, no, no, no, no, no,” he continued.
“We don’t need them. We [meaning President Barack Obama and himself] found that, when we were in office, in fact … [when] we finally got things under control, you have to report back for a hearing on such-and-such a date, people show up!”
But the 2020 hopeful forgot to mention that many of the migrant shelters were opened under the Obama administration.
In June, Obama's former ICE chief said it was Obama who came up with the idea of putting illegal immigrant children in the “cages,” not President Donald Trump.
Despite this fact, the Democrats are using the 'children in the cages' narrative to ignite outrage mobs against Trump as crucial aspects of their 2020 campaigns.
The Department of Homeland Security reported to Congress that as many as 90 percents of so-called “asylum-seekers” don't even bother showing up for court hearings.

In July, Fellow Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren accused the Trump Administration of "criminal abuses at the border" including claims they "sexually abuse immigrants."
Democratic 2020 hopeful Warren warns that "as president," she will start a task force at the Justice Department “to investigate the Trump administration’s criminal abuses at the border.”
“[W]e’ll hold perpetrators accountable,” she vowed.
“I’ve got a message for the Trump administration,” Warren warned in her first Tweet.
“When you physically abuse immigrants, sexually abuse immigrants, or refuse to supply immigrants with medical care that they need, you break the law of the United States of America.”
