Another Gaffe? Joe Biden Appears To Forget Obama’s Name
Former vice president has trouble recalling who his boss was
2020 frontrunner Joe Biden seemingly had a difficult time recalling former President Obama’s name during a discussion about Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
In the video, Biden referenced comments President Donald Trump made during his press conference at the G7 summit.
Trump claimed that Obama wanted Russia removed from the G7, which was G8 at the time because he was tricked by Putin when he invaded Ukraine on his watch.
Trump argued that Russia should be allowed to come back to the table, saying he would rather have them inside the tent.
“They invaded another country and annexed a significant portion of it, called Crimea,” Biden said in response.
“He’s saying that it was President … my boss … it was his fault.”
Biden seemed to forget the name of "his boss."
The former vice president very publicly flubbed Obama’s name in 2012, telling a crowd that a “pernicious” Mitt Romney ad claimed that “President Clinton bankrupted Chrysler so that Italians could buy it to ship jobs overseas to China.”
But the actual ad was an attack on then-President Obama, not Clinton.
Biden has been reeling from a series of embarrassing blunders coupled with a poll showing Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren making substantial gains.

Biden's brain neurosurgeon insisted last week he had not suffered brain damage and is in good health, despite mounting concerns about his mental condition.
Dr. Neal Kassell said that Biden ‘is every bit as sharp as he was 31-years-ago,’ insisting he has not seen ‘any change’ in his patient over the last 20 years, according to Politico.
Biden was previously treated for two brain aneurysms in 1988.‘I can tell you with absolute certainty that he had no brain damage, either from the hemorrhage or from the operations that he had,’ Kassell said.
Earlier this month, Biden said he was the vice president in 2018 during the Parkland school shooting.
Biden claims he was VP and oversaw the attacks at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting that took the lives of 17 people in Parkland, Florida on February 14, 2018.
According to Bloomberg, while speaking to a group of reporters at a pro-gun control forum in Iowa on Saturday, Biden said, “those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president.”
