Video of Bernie Sanders Getting Hit in the Face with a Speed Bag Goes Viral
2020 hopeful shows off 'boxing skills' during Vice News interview - it goes horribly wrong

Joe Biden can breathe a sigh of relief today, as the 2020 Democrat at the center of this embarrassing gaffe is Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
A video of presidential candidate Sanders showing off his "boxing skills" in the gym has quickly gone viral across social media on Wednesday, though perhaps not for the reasons he would like.
During an interview with Vice News, socialist Sanders stepped up to the speed bag in the gym where it was being filmed.
While the cameras were rolling, "tough guy" Bernie took a few jabs at the bag but got more than he bargained for when it swung back and hit him in the face, almost knocking him off his feet.

According to a photo posted on Twitter by Vice News’ Elizabeth Landers, Sanders took a round on the speed bag at the Muhammad Ali Center in Kentucky.
Sanders joked afterward that he might need a speed bag to get out “my damn aggression.”

Unfortunately for Sanders, a video clip of his speed bag work started circulating around Twitter — and it shows the Democratic 2020 presidential candidate getting hit in the face.

President Trump's son, Donald Jr. shared the video on Twitter, with it soaring past 1 million views in just a couple of hours.
"This wouldn’t exactly strike fear in the minds of our adversaries," Don Jr. joked.
"Imagine this guy sitting across the table negotiating with world leaders?"

In the video, Sanders is seen taking a swing at the bag, only for it to quickly come back and knock him off balance.
He then attempts to hit the bag again, only to miss entirely.
According to the Daily Caller, boxing is the second sport Sanders has participated in during the past month.
His campaign recently organized a softball game with the media at the “Field of Dreams” in Iowa, and Sanders was seen pitching and batting with relative ease.
