Hollywood Liberals Publicly Celebrate Death of Libertarian David Koch
'Tolerant' attack billionaire political donor hours after death announced
Following the passing of billionaire political donor and philanthropist David Koch on Friday, a feeding frenzy has ensued amongst Hollywood's liberal left.
Koch, who as known for putting vast amounts of money behind causes to advance freedom, has been targeted by high-profile leftist activists who could not bring themselves ot to acknowledge Koch's contributions.
Just hours after his death was first announced, the so-called 'tolerant' progressive left could not even allow Koch's family to grieve as they began to launch their attacks.
Public figures and celebrities took to social media to celebrate Koch's passing.
Some even openly wished Koch's brother, Charles, who is still alive, would be joining him soon.
Hollywood actress Bette Midler openly cheered Koch's death in a series of tweets and retweets for her 1.7 million followers:
"I tweeted the [sic] #CharlesKoch had died, instead of #DavidKochIsDEAD. I'm sorry to give others false hope. Guess it was just wishful thinking. As we watch the Amazon Rainforest burning, all the #GlobalWarming culprits are foremost in one's mind."
Midler even shamed others for paying respect to Koch's memory.
In response to a message sent by The Heritage Foundation's president, Kay Coles James, Midler wrote:
"With all due respect, Ms. James. f*ck you. 'A friend of liberty' Yes, his own and his family's," before throwing more insults.

With all due respect, Ms. James, fuck you. "A friend of liberty" Yes, his own and his family's. The rest of us can drink leaded water and burn in the climate change he produced. And it was the #NewYorkCityBallet he endowed, not #AmericanBalletTheater. https://t.co/gpK11Yqi1F— Bette Midler (@BetteMidler) August 23, 2019
Ron, this is bad. The dudes are social liberals and fiscal libertarians. They fund cancer research, medical centers, and the arts. We can disagree with others without forgetting that we’re all human.— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) August 23, 2019
Celebrating a man’s death while fighting to abolish the death penalty is a bad look for democrats/humans.— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) August 23, 2019
Actor Ron Perlman also reacted to Koch's death:
"Wishing the Koch brothers a speedy reunion."
Conservative radio host Dana Loesch confronted Perlman informing him the Koch brothers' have championed social philosophies in line with many on the left.
But Perlman didn't back down:
"All the good deeds there are can't replace the lives lost that come with peddling agents of death for profit."
Many other leftist journalists, authors, filmmakers, and activists - all of which are self-described tolerant liberals, relished in the death of a stranger they considered a political foe.
Left-leaning news outlet The Independent printed an op-ed declaring Koch's "life's work was the destruction of others."
Ironically, Actress Alyssa Milano took some heat herself after she attempted to be a voice of reason by tweeting:
"Celebrating a man's death while fighting to abolish the death penalty is a bad look for democrats/humans."
