Iowa Professor Declares 'I am Antifa,' After Threatening Violence Against Trump
English professor Jeff Klinzman confirms support for violent far left group

An Iowa college professor has openly declared his support for the far-left Antifa movement after he faced backlash for social media posts that included his desire to bash President Donald Trump with a baseball bat.
English professor Jeff Klinzman, who has taught for almost ten years at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, made the comments after a local TV station asked him about his social media posts.
“I affirm that I am Antifa,” Klinzman told local ABC affiliate KCRG-TV.
The station had found the professor’s numerous posts on an “Iowa Antifa” page and his own personal page.

The professor stood behind his comments.
The outlet reported that in one post, Klinzman posted a poem containing the words, “Kill them all and bury them deep in the ground,” and adding the comment, “It’s not pretty, and I’m not proud, but seeing what evangelical Christians are doing to this country and its people fills me with rage, and a desire to exact revenge.”
Klinzman was also an active participant in a local Antifa group on Facebook, KCRG reported.
He also made the apparent comment about attacking Trump on the page.
“Yeah, I know who I’d clock with a bat…” he said in response to a tweet by Trump where the president slammed Antifa.
“Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting… people over the heads with baseball bats,” with Klinzman saying “Yeah, I know who I’d clock with a bat…”
Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others). Would make it easier for police to do their job!

Major consideration is being given to naming ANTIFA an “ORGANIZATION OF TERROR.” Portland is being watched very closely. Hopefully the Mayor will be able to properly do his job!

There has been no confirmation by the Secret Service if an investigation will be opened, but they said the agency was aware of the professor’s comments.
Last week, Trump announced on Twitter there is “major consideration” being given to designating the far-left group Antifa as a terrorist organization ahead of the protests upcoming protests in Portland.
“Major consideration is being given to naming ANTIFA an ‘ORGANIZATION OF TERROR,’” the president tweeted just before Antifa protests in the city.
“Portland is being watched very closely. Hopefully, the Mayor will be able to properly do his job!”
Antifa is known for covering their faces with masks, making it harder to identify them.
Patriot Prayer's Joey Gibson, who organized similar rallies in 2017 and 2018, surrendered Friday on an arrest warrant for felony rioting.
