Sex Trafficking Activist: Trump Tackling Issue More Than Previous Presidents
Filmmaker Jaco Booyens discussed Trump’s background fighting sex trafficking
Filmmaker Jaco Booyens discussed Trump’s background fighting sex trafficking in a segment of “Life, Liberty, and Levin" that aired on Sunday.
Booyens also praised Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who recently completed a hugely successful series of raids across six cities in Mississippi, for their role in protecting victims of sex trafficking.
“This president, Donald Trump, has done more to try to address this than previous presidents? Barack Obama?” Levin asked Booyens.
“No question,” Booyens responded.
He also added that ICE workers are “incredible men and women that help us … incredible people who actually go and keep America’s children safe.”
Booyens’ film “8 Days” depicts a teenager's story of being sex trafficked after sneaking out to a party.
Booyens said sex trafficking is a crime that “doesn’t ask if you are conservative or liberal."
“Someone doesn’t wake up in the morning saying I want to buy sex with a 12-year-old girl — oh and by the way she has to be a virgin,” Booyens said.
“They start somewhere else.”
“It starts with a pornographic culture, soft porn,” the anti-sex trafficking activist added.
It’s the objectification of women, which we as a country have done a great job at completely objectifying women to sex objects and emasculating men.”
Unsurprisingly, Booyens said that both CNN and MSNBC have shown no interest in his work.
“I say that not to point finger or blame,” he said.
“That’s just a fact.”
Earlier this year, Neon Nettle reported that during Obama's second presidential term, the United States became the world's number one hotspot for sex trafficking and pedophilia.
The US shifted to become the top destination for human traffickers and child sex slavery rings.
Barack Obama let his people down in many ways during his time as president, but perhaps it is the nation’s most vulnerable members — the children — who were let down the most by his administration.
Why is the left so ignorant about sex trafficking?
