Bernie Sanders: Free Health Care 'Applies to All People' Including Illegal Aliens
2020 hopeful pushes 'Medicare for All' during presidential debate

Socialist 2020 hopeful Bernie Sanders said during the second Democrat presidential debate that he would support health care for illegal immigrants.
When asked about the issue of healthcare and illegal aliens, Sanders said:
“I happen to believe that when I talk about health care as a human right, that applies to all people in this country."
The Democratic socialist added that “under a Medicare for All, single-payer” system, taxpayers could afford it.

Sanders has remained stubborn on his stance, even though 60 percent of Americans oppose giving health care to illegal immigrants, a CNN poll reported.
The presidential candidate also suggested that he was open to giving free college tuition to illegal immigrants.
But when asked that such a move would simply incentivize more foreign nationals entering the country, Sander's deflected to the border security issue then shifted to an attack on President Donald Trump.
“What Trump is doing through his racism and xenophobia is demonizing a group of people,” Sanders said.

These people coming to our country are not criminals; they are human beings.”
Last month, Sanders admitted that he would raise taxes for middle-class citizens to pay for his socialist universal health care plan.
Sanders received the first question of the night in Democrats' presidential debate in Miami, Fla.
He was asked whether middle-class taxpayers would fund his proposed free health insurance policy should he win the election in 2020.
After initially attempting to dodge answering the question directly, he eventually admitted that "yes, they will pay more in taxes," when he was pressed.
“You’ve called for big new government benefits like universal health care and free college. In a recent interview, you said you suspected that Americans would be ‘delighted’ to pay more taxes for things like that,” NBC’s “Today Show” host Savannah Guthrie asked.
“You’re quite right," Sanders answered.
