Rat Photobombs Live News Coverage from Baltimore on Trump's Criticisms - WATCH
Live footage filmed in Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood shows rodent run from trash

During a live news report from the streets of Baltimore, a rat photobombed the footage as it ran from trash bags laying in on the ground while a reporter discussed outrage over President Donald Trump’s criticisms of the conditions in the city.
A large rat was seen running through a live shot as the camera panned across an area of the city’s Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood.
The rat grabbed its two seconds of fame on Monday during a live feature while reporter Maxine Streicher was saying residents think Trump should visit Baltimore and see its condition for himself:
“Now, we spoke with many people today, who say the president should consider coming here to Baltimore, to the Sandtown area, and taking a look at things for himself.”
As the camera panned to a shot of an alley, the giant rat scurried out from behind a pile of trash bags and ran along the wall and around the corner.

As Neon Nettle reported on Monday, Baltimore's Democrat Mayor Catherine Pugh was also caught on camera complaining about the city's "rats" and "dead animals" in reemerged news footage that was filmed last year.
The video shows the Democratic mayor complaining about the poor conditions in part of the city.
While touring the slums of her city, Pugh was caught on camera complaining that she "can smell the dead animals" and declaring "we should just take all this sh*t down."

Pugh made the comments during a September 2018 Fox 45 segment while touring a Baltimore neighborhood that was meant to highlight her "violence-reduction initiative."
As Pugh walked around the streets, she said: "What the hell? We should just take all this sh*t down. ... Whoa, you can smell the rats. ... Whew, Jesus. ... Oh, my God, you can smell the dead animals."

Later on Monday night, President Trump said the federal government has sent billions of dollars to Baltimore in recent years but the money has been either “stolen or wasted.”
Posting on Twitter, Trump wrote: “Baltimore’s numbers are the worst in the United States on Crime and the Economy.
"Billions of dollars have been pumped in over the years, but to no avail.
"The money was stolen or wasted.”
“Ask Elijah Cummings where it went. He should investigate himself with his Oversight Committee!” Trump added, referring to the Democratic Maryland representative, who is chairman of the House Oversight Committee.

Lynne Patton, the regional administrator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, said that $16 billion in grants was given to Cummings’s district alone in 2018.
