Black Pastor: ‘Hard to Believe Trump Is Racist, I Know it When I See It’
Democrats smear campaign crumbles amid Pastor's remarks

The president of the Coalition of African-American Pastors, Bill Owens, has thrown a spanner in the Democrat's 'Trump's a racist' narrative by saying he doesn’t think President is racist.
Owens made the remarks following a White House meeting with a group of inner-city pastors.
Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs covered Owens reaction to the meeting on Twitter.
“‘I find that hard to believe’ that Trump is racist, Pastor Bill Owens tells us outside WH after meeting with Trump."
"Owens, 80, said he suffered from racism in his life, ‘so I know it when I see it.’ He learned of WH invitation last Wednesday, he says. Twenty pastors in mtg.”

Owens noted that the meeting was previously planned, dispelling any notion that was used as a countermeasure for the Democrat's accusations.
Trump was the first to mention the meeting.
Owens also stepped in to quell any speculation that the meeting was called for 'damage control' amid the backlash over a recent series of derogatory tweets.
Trump recently slammed Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings and the condition of the district of Baltimore, which he declared “a disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess” and a “very dangerous and filthy place.”
The Democrats instantly used the race card in an attempt to smear Trump.
Trump called Rep. Elijah Cummings a 'racist ' in response to the ongoing feud with the Maryland Democrat following the president's comments on the district of Baltimore.

....As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place

Selective attacks
Trump's opinion is by no means unique.
Sen. Bernie Sanders took his own shots at Baltimore just a few years ago.
In 2015, Sanders slammed the struggling Northeast city as a "disgrace," likening it to a "Third World country."
“Anyone who took the walk that we took around this neighborhood would not think you’re in a wealthy nation,” Sanders said while visiting the city’s West Baltimore section in December 2015, the Baltimore Sun reported.
HBO even produced a critically-acclaimed television show (hit series “The Wire”) centered around Baltimore's squalor.
It seems that the Democrat's attempted smear campaign has backfired again.
The praise of Trump from black leaders like Owens may still do little to change alter the liberal left media's narrative though, which is again proves that journalism has all but a distant memory for establishment news networks.
The left-wing commentator's “Orange Man Bad” script has illustrated a clear picture of media bias.
