Bette Midler Accuses Trump of Paying African-Americans To Attend Rallies
Liberal actor blasted on Twitter for 'Racist' tweet

Liberal actress Bette Midler was accused of racism on Wednesday for accusing President Donald Trump of paying African-American supporters to attend his recent rally.
Midler tweeted an image of the Trump rally:
"Look, there are African American men in this shot! How much did he pay them to be ‘blackground?’”
Midler comments ignited instant backlash from her 1.7 million followers, with many saying her tweet was racist.
Fox News Contributor Deroy Murdock said he was “shocked” at the controversial Twitter post.

“How dare Midler dismiss these grown black men as props for hire, rather than sapient citizens who support the candidate of their choice?"
"And why shouldn't they? Thanks to the Trump/GOP tax cuts, black unemployment is near record lows, and average real wages for blacks are up 3.3 percent over the last 12 months, the Dallas Federal Reserve reports,” Murdock told Fox News.
“Also, President Trump's criminal-justice reform disproportionately benefits blacks.”
Murdock continued to make his case:
"In 2016, 13 percent of black men voted for Donald J. Trump. If the president can improve those numbers a bit, and boost his standing among black women, he vastly will increase his chances for re-election.
"Midler surely would hate to see President Trump returned to the White House. But for this black man, it would be nice to have him back where he belongs.”
Well this seems pretty racist. https://t.co/EtyZh7HGMV

They are a dream enemy. You just stand back and let them self destruct. https://t.co/518rF5oy1h
Let’s not insult black people for thinking independently.

It’s amazing how many liberals feel free mocking gay people, minorities and women when it’s politically expedient https://t.co/QbEUlBl4e7

Midler also said that Trump “will be in Moscow before” he could be charged with a crime once he leaves office.
in June, Midler faced backlash on Twitter for sharing a fake Donald Trump quote which falsely claimed that he mocked Republican supporters before running for president.
The quote was debunked as fake four years ago, which begs the question of why Midler didn't do some research before posting it.
The fake Trump quote is as follows:
“If I were to run, I’d run as a Republican. They’re the dumbest group of voters in the country. They believe anything on Fox News. I could lie, and they’d still eat it up. I bet my numbers would be terrific."
