Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe claimed that former special counsel Robert Mueller would probably "go much deeper" into the details of the Russia probe when speaking to Congress.

Mueller will give public testimony on the Russia Probe before Congress on July 17.

Democratic House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jerold Nadler made the announcement late on Tuesday by releasing the information in a letter he posted on Twitter.

According to Nadler, Mueller's testimony will provide Democrats with the televised event they have been hoping for to dramatize Mueller's findings for the broader public.

In an MSNBC interview, McCabe said it was "an accurate assumption" to imply the most sensitive aspects of the Russia investigation will be discussed in the closed-door discussion.

"I think the fact that his senior staffers will participate in what sounds like those debriefings that will take place certainly behind closed doors in classified settings."

"I think is another indication that those sessions will go much deeper into the details that the investigators uncovered during the course of their work," McCabe said on Wednesday.

Mueller's report reveals they could not establish a criminal conspiracy between the Russian government and the Trump campaign

Mueller's report reveals they could not establish a criminal conspiracy between the Russian government and the Trump campaign but left open the question of possible obstruction of justice.

Last month, Mueller indicated he wouldn't discuss anything not already present in his 448-page report.

"I think there are revelations that many, many people have not heard before, have not read in the report. So I think you can't underestimate the significance of the director's upcoming testimony," McCabe said.

Earlier this week, Former Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) revealed his perspective on the Mueller report changed when he came across mysterious evidence.

Speaking to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures," Gowdy said the evidence in question is FBI transcripts of conversations concerning Trump campaign associate George Papadopoulos and FBI informants.
