Actor James Woods also fell foul to the platforms censorship activities after he was suspended in April.
He has since abandoned posting on the platform.
Trump urged Twitter to remember the importance of the First Amendment.
“It’s called Freedom of Speech, remember,” he wrote.
“You are making a Giant Mistake!”
In April, Trump met with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to discuss the platform.
“Look forward to keeping an open dialogue!” Trump wrote after the meeting.

In April, Neon Nettle reported on a new bill aiming to hold social media giants accountable for infringing on users' rights to free speech.
The proposed Texas bill would protect users' rights to freely exchange information on social media without being censored due to their political views.
Last month, Trump also reacted to recent purge of conservative voices declaring; "this is the United States of America."
In a series of tweets, the president addressed Facebook's purging of conservative voices Diamond and Silk who were branded as "unsafe to the community," saying the situation "is very sad - and we’re looking into [it]."
In what Trump described as "the censorship of AMERICAN CITIZENS on social media platforms," he went on to slam Twitter for banning actor-turned conservative commentator James Woods, and Facebook for purging Infowars editor and YouTube pundit Paul Joseph Watson.
