Sarah Sanders Dines with The Queen, 1 Year After 'Red Hen' Refused to Serve Her
White House Press Secretary Trump and his family at a State Banquet
Last year, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was thrown out of the Lexington, Virginia, restaurant Red Hen purely because she was an affiliated with President Donald Trump.
But just a year later, Sanders got the last laugh as she dined with the Queen of England in London.
She joined Trump and his family at a State Banquet, which was hosted by Buckingham Palace with over 170 individuals attending the event.
The Queen's first cousin, Prince Michael of Kent, escorted Sanders to the event.
Sander's father, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, tweeted:
“” I had [Chick-fil-A] 2nite. My daughter [Sarah Sanders] dined with the Queen and had a 120-course meal. Life ain’t fair.”
The Red Hen employees who ejected Sanders from the restaurant last year must also be pondering on how life isn't fair.
It seems that a mature person, such as the queen, has sens past the toxic liberal media attacks on Sanders.
According to The Western Journal: Sanders, after being removed from the Red Hen, said that the owner’s actions “say far more about her than about me.
I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”
She hit the nail on the head, as the owner — Stephanie Wilkinson — showed no remorse in an interview with The Washington Post, stating that she “would have done the same thing again.”
“I explained that the restaurant has certain standards that I feel it has to uphold, such as honesty, and compassion, and cooperation,” Wilkinson recalled of her confrontation with Sanders.
“I said, ‘I’d like to ask you to leave.'”
It was quite compassionate of her to kick out a woman peacefully eating with family and friends, right?
No, it wasn’t at all. It was the opposite of compassion.
Sanders was classy and graceful in the heat of an awkward exchange, and instead of seeking out vengeance or dwelling on the hateful encounter, she went on with her life — which, based on photos of her dinner with the British royals, seems to be working out quite well for her.
