Trump Calls Sadiq Khan a 'Stone Cold Loser' As He Arrives In UK
President responds to London Mayor's scathing attack on him in The Observer

President Donald Trump responded to London Mayor Sadiq Khan's recent hit piece on him in the liberal Observer newspaper, branding the left-wing politician as a “stone cold loser" as he arrived for his visit to the United Kingdom.
Trump's tweets followed an article written by Khan, who insisted Britain should not roll out the red carpet for president's visit.
Khan went on to compare Trump to European dictators.
Trump's actions are like “the actions of European dictators of the 1930s and 40s… the military juntas of the 1970s and 80s… Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong-un," he wrote.

But the London Mayor didn't have much to fall back on, as Trump pointed to Khan's poor record of dealing with the cities exploding violent crimes rates.
Trump said Khan's attempt at leading London was “terrible,' before saying he has been foolish and “stone-cold loser,” and was much like the “very dumb and incompetent” New York Mayor de Blasio.
Trump stated Khan’s campaign to sour the relationship with the U.S had been for nothing:
“I look forward to being a great friend to the United Kingdom, and am looking very much forward to my visit.”
....Kahn reminds me very much of our very dumb and incompetent Mayor of NYC, de Blasio, who has also done a terrible job - only half his height. In any event, I look forward to being a great friend to the United Kingdom, and am looking very much forward to my visit. Landing now!

Khan was not invited to the state banquet held in Donald Trump's honor during his official visit to the UK, which may be due to his public anti-Trump stance.
The mayor famously said Trump was "not in the same class" as Barack Obama, on the subject of state visits to the UK.
Khan has been criticized for rising violent crime in London, even admitting he had 'done all I can' as he was grilled over his complete failure of tackling the cities violent epidemic.
The London Mayor claimed he had done 'as much as I am allowed to do under the law' by raising taxes and using business rates funds to invest in policing.
