Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took aim at President Donald Trump and US foreign policy during a meeting with Bronx community leaders which caused two military veterans to walk out.
Anthony Vitaliano, an Army veteran who worked for NYPD for 38 years commanding the Bronx’s homicide detectives slammed the socialist congresswoman saying what she says 'is not what the country is about.'
“I just couldn’t hear her BS anymore,” the former CB11 chairman said.
“I just got up, got my umbrella in my hand, and walked right out.”
On Wednesday, AOC held a closed-door meeting with about a dozen members of the board as she visited the Bronx area of her district.

When one Middle Eastern board member raised the issue of the Yemen conflict, the Democrat launched into a tirade on Us foreign policy.
AOC claimed US policy of providing bombs to Saudi Arabia is what aided Yemen’s government in a brutal civil war.
But some attendees criticized her for not including the roles of other nations, and not explaining the volatile region’s violence.
“Talking about America, that really turned me off completely,” said Mazzella, 74, who said he fought in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968.

I was revolted,” said the attendee, wanted to remain anonymous.
The veterans attending walked out halfway through the meeting in disgust.
Other subject brought up were problems with the US Postal Service, which frequently misses mail deliveries and a local Amtrak property which is a magnet for vandals.
“Did she care about the issues? She wrote them down,” said Vitaliano, 78.
“The jury will be out on the local issues.”
Vitaliano added AOC “danced around the whole” question of Columbus Day, who supports creating a day for indigenous people and wants to preserve the treasured Italian-American tradition.
Some attendees weren't as hostile to the congresswoman with one saying, “There were a lot of people that really adored what she was saying.”
But AOC’s office denied that anyone stormed out of the meeting.
“The only person that left the meeting while it was underway was someone who had to go pick up their children,” said AOC spokesman Corbin Trent.
Vitaliano said countered:
“That’s bulls–t. Everybody that was there knows I walked out.”
