Ilhan Omar Implies Latinos Can't Succeed in Merit-Based Immigration System
Muslim congresswoman suggests legal immigration won't work for Latinos

Presdient Trump and many conservatives have repeatedly made the case they are not against legal immigration but embrace the idea of people coming to the United States through a merit-based immigration system.
The massive influx of illegal immigrants in the US is something that Democrats insist is good for the country, while many conservatives argue that unchecked immigration is damaging the US.
The usual suspects are arguing the case against legal immigration, including Ilhan Omar, who suggested in a seemingly bigoted tweet that restriction on immigration is somehow based on fear and bigotry.
The left has criticized the notion, that immigrants should be bringing something to the table, as 'attacking Latinos,' as Democrats like Ilhan Omar seems to think they’re incapable of offering anything of value.

It doesn't take much to imagine the outrage if Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, or any other republican posted what Omar had posted.
But no, the Democrats have been silent on Omar's tweet.
Omar has seemingly broad-brush an entire ethnicity as unable to compete, which if anything, is real racism and prejudice.
One thing the Democrats don't seem to understand is, you don't fix racism by reversing it.
As the son of a Cuban immigrant whose Dad came to get a math degree & become a computer programmer, I’m troubled that Dems seem to believe Hispanic immigrants can’t qualify for skills-based legal immigration. Bringing in more scientists, engineers & doctors is good for US jobs. https://t.co/iugniZgJtL

Omar, who is America’s first Muslim congresswoman, has been at the epicenter of a string of allegations of anti-semitism and anti-American sentiments.
When the Democrat isn't attacking Israel or moaning that Trump is killing terrorists, she's criticizing America.
Omar last week said, "ignorance" was prevalent in "many parts of this country" when referring to America during a recent podcast.
The Democrat was speaking about the process that refugees go through and claiming Republicans were "really good at misinformation and sort of really reorganizing facts to sort of paint a picture that really eventually is not rooted in fact."
"And so it is not that they might not be knowledgeable about this, but they use it as a tool to stir up hate and division," Omar maintained.
