President Donald Trump is reportedly planning on using the Insurrection Act to remove illegal immigrants from the United States, according to reports.

Trump intends to invoke the “tremendous powers” of the act to remove illegal immigrants from the country, according to multiple senior administration officials.

“We’re doing the Insurrection Act,” one official said.

The Insurrection Act of 1807 permits the president to use the National Guard and military to combat “unlawful obstruction or rebellion” within U.S. borders.

George H.W. Bush invoked the actin 1992 to suppress the Los Angeles riots, while Eisenhower used it in 1957 to enforce school desegregation in the south.

But an official said that the president's use of the act’s powers would face legal challenges, recounting the lawsuits against the president’s travel ban from majority-Muslim countries.

Despite the lawsuits, the travel ban eventually prevailed in the Supreme Court.

According to The DailyCaller: In addition to the Insurrection Act, the president is also considering declaring the country full and commanding that the U.S. can no longer handle the massive influx of illegal immigrants.
