This isn't the first time citizens have taken civil action against Speaker Pelosi.
In January, a White House petition calling for Nancy Pelosi to be impeached "for crimes of Treason" went viral, gathering tens of thousands of signatures in just a few days.
The petition, entitled "Impeach Nancy Pelosi for crimes of Treason!," smashed through the 100,000 signatures required for an official response from the White House, reaching 195,628 by the time it closed.
The campaign was launched on January 18th by "M.G." via the official "We the People" government website and appears to have quickly gained momentum in the last couple of days.
According to the rules, any petition that reaches the goal of 100,000 signatures within 30 days will "get an official update from the White House within 60 days."

A growing number of Democrats is turning on Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to support President Trump on his proposed border wall after the disagreement led to the partial government shutdown.
Dems are publicly taking positions against Pelosi’s opposition to a wall along the U.S. Southern Border after Trump was forced to decalre a national emergency to fund the wall's construction with executive authority.
Speaker Pelosi has been accused of putting her anti-Trump campaign before the needs of the American people by politicizing the situation at the Southern Border.
Pelosi has only recently backed off her calls of impeachment against President Trump.
The House speaker admitted that impeachment efforts would be in vain.
"You're wasting your time unless the evidence is so conclusive that the Republicans will understand," Pelosi told USA Today.
"Otherwise, it's a gift to the president. We take our eye off the ball."
