Nancy Pelosi Warns Trump: ‘Don’t Run’ in 2020
Democratic House speaker tells president not to run for re-election

Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has issued a warning to President Donald Trump, telling him to "do the country a favor" and "don't run" for re-election in 2020.
This week, former music magazine-turned-left-wing news outlet Rolling Stone released a short video to promote their cover story featuring Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Jahana Hayes (D-CT).
The fluff piece, entitled "Women Shaping the Future" was meant to celebrate powerful female figures in politics, yet only featured Democrats, including controversial socialist Ocasio-Cortez and anti-Semitic Omar.
During the Rolling Stone clip, which feels more like a DNC promo video, Pelosi issued a direct message to Donald Trump.
Looking straight into the camera, Pelosi warned:
“Mr. President, do the country a favor, don’t run."

Pelosi allowed Rolling Stone to use the U.S. Capitol for the feature's photo shoot.
During video interviews with the magazine, Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Jahana Hayes used the moment to blast President Trump.
When asked about Trump, Ocasio-Cortez dismissed the president by claiming she doesn’t want to give him any more attention.
“If I had to say something to Trump, I probably wouldn’t say anything, because I don’t think that it’s worth the extra attention,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
Hayes struck a more conciliatory tone.
“If I were talking to President Trump, I would remind him that you are my President, as well, and I recognize the weight of the office," she said.
"So it’s not about a person, it’s not about a position, it’s about the office of the President, and the responsibility that goes along with that office,” Hayes added.

When asked about Presdient Trump, Ilhan Omar, the radical progressive congresswoman repeatedly accused of anti-Semitism, accused him of dividing the nation.
"The people of the United States are looking for a leader that unites," Omar stated.
"You have an opportunity to step up into that leadership position," she added.
