Two pedophiles have been publicly killed in Yemen for kidnapping, raping and murdering a 12-year-old boy, according to reports.
Both men, Mohamed Khaled, 31, and Wadah Refat, 28, were convicted of murdering and raping 12-year-old Mohamed Saad in May 2018.
The men were taken to the port city of Aden on Thursday as hundreds gathered to watch them get shot dead by a firing squad.
The pedophiles' victim had been playing close to a house where one of them lived.

The boy was kidnapped before being dragged into the home before being raped and then murdered.
"After the rape, they could not silence the cries of the child, who begged for help, so one of them grabbed a knife and slit his throat," according to court documents seen by El Mundo reported.
An accomplice to the men, a 33-year-old woman, was also sentenced to death for helping both Refat and Khaled dismember the boy's body.
The woman's execution has been delayed as she is pregnant, the website states.
Shooting is the most common method of execution in Yemen, which as one of the highest execution rates per capita in the world.
Under Islamic Sharia law in Yemen, crimes inclduing murder, rape, and terrorism are all punishable by death.
In August 2018, three members of a pedophile ring were brutally killed in the same public square in Yemen after they were charged with raping and murdering a 10-year-old boy.

The gang was caught raping and killing ten-year-old Mosad Saleh al-Mothana, whose family demanded they be "sent to hell" for their crimes against the young child.
Also last year, the Indian government approved the death penalty for pedophiles who rape children below 12 years of age in the ordinance to amend the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO).
The new law is to tackle the epidemic of pedophilia and gang rape in India which saw a series of assaults since 2012, inclduing a student was gang-raped and murdered on a moving New Delhi bus.
The men who responsible for the rape and murder of the medical student in New Delhi have been sentenced to death and remain on death row.
