Trump Destroys US Intel's Iran Report: Says Spies Are ‘Wrong’ & ‘Naive'
Annual ‘threat assessment’ contradicted the President's stance

President Donald Trump has branded the US intelligence agencies as “naive” and “wrong” following their annual ‘threat assessment’ which contradicted his stance by downplaying Tehran’s nuclear threat.
The President also dismissed the agency's assessments of the threat posed by North Korea which contradicted his judgments during congressional testimony.
The Senate committee was told by leaders of the US intelligence community that the North Korea's nuclear threat remained valid and that Iran was not in the stages of developing a nuclear bomb.

“The Intelligence people seem to be extremely passive and naive when it comes to the dangers of Iran,” Trump tweeted on Wednesday.
“They are wrong!”
“They are testing Rockets (last week) and more, and are coming very close to the edge,” he continued.
“There economy is now crashing, which is the only thing holding them back. Be careful of Iran. Perhaps Intelligence should go back to school!”

Trump's sanctions against Iran have hindered the Islamic Republic’s economy, but his warning of “dangers of Iran” is not shared by US’ intelligence agencies.
The Intelligence people seem to be extremely passive and naive when it comes to the dangers of Iran. They are wrong! When I became President Iran was making trouble all over the Middle East, and beyond. Since ending the terrible Iran Nuclear Deal, they are MUCH different, but....

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats delivered the agencies’ yearly ‘Worldwide Threat Assessment to the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday.
The spy chief warned of cyber threats from Russia, China, and North Korea, but dismissed the danger of a nuclear Iran.
“We do not believe Iran is currently undertaking activities we judge necessary to produce a nuclear device,” Coats told the committee.
He said that nuclear research undertaken by Tehran has remained within the 2015 Iran Deal, which Trump withdrew from in May.
The US’ top intelligence official goes on to contradict the President's s rhetoric on Iran for the last two years.
Iran recently threatened to cut off all of its Gulf oil supply in response to sanctions imposed by the US.
The bold move could potentially spark a war between the two nations if unresolved.
President Hassan Rouhani remained defiant against US sanctions, maintaining his stance to cut off international oil sales from the Gulf.
