Sarah Sanders: Will Hillary Clinton Be Arrested If 'Lying to FBI' is a Crime?
White House Press Secretary asked if FBI would raid homes of Clinton, Clapper and Comey
Amid the indictment of Trump ally Roger Stone, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders voiced her thoughts on whether the FBI would also be raiding the homes of Hillary Clinton, James Clapper and James Comey.
Trump-confidant Roger Stones home was raided on Friday by FBI agents after was indicted by a grand jury on charges including allegedly making false statements to Congress, obstructing a government investigation, and tampering with a witness.
A special counsel Robert Mueller 'Russia collusion investigation.' which has already cost the American taxpayer $25 Million, Sander's asked if the FBI would have the same protocol for the likes of Hillary Clinton and others who have allegedly lied to the FBI.
In response to Roger Stone's arrest on Friday in an interview with CNN, Sanders said:
"We’ll let the courts make the decision. A bigger question is: If this is the standard, will the same rule apply to people like Hillary Clinton, James Comey and [James] Clapper?”
Clinton, Comey, and Clapper have all allegedly made false statements to the FBI during official testimonies.
Ironically, the only home that was raided relating to Clinton was that of a whistleblower who leaked Clinton Foundation and Uranium One documents to a government watchdog.
Federal investigators led a six-hour search on the home of recognized Department of Justice informant Dennis Nathan Cain.
Sarah Sanders continued to ask:
“Will we see the same people we know have all made false statements? Will that same standard apply? That’s a question we’ll see what happens on that front.”

But many suspected CNN's roles in the coverage of the raid of Stone’s home as investigators within Robert Mueller's Russia probe team and the FBI have come under the question of leaking information to CNN ahead of Stone's arrest.
The news network had a reporter camping outside the political operative's home when federal agents took him into custody early on Friday morning.
CNN was the only news outlet to capture footage of Stone’s arrest Friday morning, which raises suspicions they where tipped off from Mueller's team.
According to a report from the Daily Caller: Juanita Broaddrick, a woman who has accused Bill Clinton of rape, tweeted soon after the pre-dawn arrest of Stone that the FBI should raid the Clintons’ home.
“If the FBI showed up at the Clintons at 4 a.m., what would they find?” Broaddrick tweeted, “… certainly not Bill.”
President Donald Trump noted following the arrest and Robert Mueller's investigation with a Tweet:
Greatest Witch Hunt in the History of our Country! NO COLLUSION! Border Coyotes, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers are treated better. Who alerted CNN to be there?
The President also asked following the arrest fo former lawyer Michael Cohen who the FBI didn't raid Hillary Clinton's office
“They BROKE INTO AN ATTORNEY’S OFFICE!” Trump said.
“Why didn’t they break into the DNC to get the Server or Crooked [Hillary]’s office?”
Time will tell if Hillary will be treated with the same standards the FBI handled both Stone and Cohen, but as of now, she seems immune.
