Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has announced that her daughter will be raised with a "genderless" approach, as she is uncertain about what she will "identify" as when she grows up.

When asked if raising a girl would adjust her approach to parenting compared with raising her two boys, she said :

"It doesn’t really change my approach, but there’s definitely a difference. I think you just raise your kids individually regardless - like a genderless [approach]."

"We still don’t know what she's going to identify as."

"How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" star.

"I will say that, right now, she is incredibly feminine in her energy, her sounds, and her way," she continued.

"It’s very different from the boys, and it’s really fun to actually want to buy kids' clothes."

"With the boys, it was just like onesies ... actually, I did pretty good with the boys," Hudson said.

"But with her, it's a whole other ball game. There's some stuff that I'm like, 'I can't do that to her, because it’s so over-the-top."

Hudson, 39, announced the arrival of her daughter in October. "She's here," Hudson posted on Instagram.

"We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa," explained the Fabletics founder.

"Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor."

"Everyone is doing well and happy as can be," she added.

"Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back."

Singer Pink last year told The Independent that she was also raising her daughter Willow as gender neutral, allowing her to make free choices that aren't dictated by what society states women should or shouldn't do.

"We are a very label-less household. Last week Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman. I was like: 'Great, can you teach me how to make African food?" Pink said.

"And she’s like: ‘Sure mama, and we are going to live with you while our house is getting ready.'" She joked that her only question to Willow was, "who is paying for this by the way?"

According to a report from Pink and her husband Carey Hart let said they allow their daughter she buy her clothes in the girls and the boy's section.

The news comes as an increasing number of parents are changing their 'Transgender' children's names legally by Deed Poll, according to reports.

As more children claim to be transgender, the number of cases where names are legally changed has soared.

At least one under-16 is having his title changed from “Master” to “Miss” or vice versa every single say the UK Deed Poll Service discovered, according to the Sunday Times.

Parents must give consent to a change in title and name for their children.
