Veteran actor James Woods has destroyed Nancy Pelosi's argument - that walls are "immoral" - with one simple question.

In response to Speaker of the House Pelosi's Trump-bashing and anti-wall speech last week, the outspoken conservative asked the Democrat one simple question:

"Why do you have a wall around your property, then?"

Woods asked the question due to comments Pelosi had made that "a wall is an immorality," despite the fact that she lives in a gated mansion that's surrounded by a protective barrier.

According to the Daily Wire, like many politicians, Pelosi apparently lives by a set of politically-expedient double standards.

Though she has repeatedly slammed President Donald Trump for his goal of funding a wall at the Southern border, calling it an "immorality," she's perfectly fine with securing her own property.

"The fact is, a wall is an immorality. It's not who we are as a nation," Pelosi told a crowd of reporters Thursday.

"We are not doing a wall. Does anybody have any doubt? We are not doing a wall," she added.

Woods replied to the tweet, asking, "Well, then, why do you have one?"

According to a report from right-wing outlet The American Mirror in 2018 (see photos, here), and begrudgingly backed by left-wing propaganda tool Snopes, Pelosi has a barrier around a multi-million dollar property she and her husband own in Napa Valley.

According to The Washington Post, the estate was worth around $5 million in 2011, and brought in "at least $5,000 worth of grape sales from the vineyard, according to financial disclosure forms for 2010." (Nancy and Paul Pelosi, by the way, are estimated to be worth somewhere between $58.7 and $72.1 million.)

The reluctant write-up from Snopes asserts:

Pelosi and her husband, Paul Pelosi, own an estate and vineyard along the banks of the Napa River on Zinfandel Lane in Northern California. The image purportedly showing Pelosi’s estate in this meme was found by the sleuths at the American Mirror (a hyperpartisan website that frequently publishes questionable content) using Google Maps. Although we’ve yet to come across a listed address for this property, we examined aerial images of this street and agree that the image likely shows the entrance of the Pelosi’s estate, as it is the only property bordering the Napa River and Zinfandel Lane that appears to be worthy of the reported $5-$20 million value.

The site goes on to further downplay Pelosi's property wall: "However, the pictured wall is simply a stone border wall that doesn’t encircle the entire property and is no more than a few feet high," says Snopes.

If you are providing security to keep unwanted folks off your private property, such as Pelosi's gate and stone border wall, is it not conceptually the same as a nation-building a barrier to keep out unwanted folks?

Pelosi would presumably like to control who is allowed into her home, hence the gate and the wall.

The United States, similarly, would be able to identify the folks coming into our nation with a wall.

Pelosi is not alone regarding such double standards, of course. A house owned by the Obamas is barricaded by a ten-foot-tall wall, too.
